2002 Maserati Coupe 4200 (Top Gear)

A very special 4200 with very special history. If youre a Top Gear fan you're going to love this...
This is THE Maserati Coupe 4200 that was driven and reviewed on episode 8, season 1 of Top Gear. Yes, the very exact car - driven by Jeremy Clarkson and The Stig, featured on the episode that aired in December 2002 - with certifiable proof.
The car will come with a folio filled with photos from the episode and emails between Graypaul Maserati in the UK, verifying the VIN/Rego to the car.
So, for anyone who is a fan of both the Maserati brand and the Top Gear TV show, this is definetly a gem, and a little piece of history.

More general history is quite mysterious. I have dealt with many 4200s over the years and for some reason this one feels FAST. I suspect its been subtly tuned, although it is fitted with a Formula Dynamics throttle module. There is a possibility that the car was tuned by Maserati as press cars are often tuned up from the factory/dealership for the journalists to make their cars seem more impressive. This is evident with the note taped to the suspension control module in the boot reading "Maserati Coupe Press presentation UK.... 138 (engine code)... Nuovo tuning". Like I said, plenty of mystique surounding this car.

Theres lots of life left on the clutch, and the car was recently serviced by Maserati a specialist, with new oil, oil filter and air filter, in April 2026. There are no electrical faults present, no engine codes.

After 25 years, cars interior presents almost brand new. All the buttons have been professionally restored and the leather appears to be in mint condition. Very little signs of wear overall.

Asking $44,000 if we can do an easy sale, otherwise Id personally love to keep the car and I'll ask for more once I list it further/later.
